Implants

This is an exciting method of replacing a missing tooth or teeth that involves placing a titanium metal root within the bone. This artificial root is allowed to integrate to the bone for a number of weeks before a crown, bridge or denture is attached to it.

The use of dental implants to retain complete and partial dentures produces dramatic results for patients. Often, long-term denture wearers will report being able to eat foods they have not been able to eat since they first received their dentures. Improved nutrition is one of many improvements implants can provide. The success rate of implants averages at 97%.
